01Baseline

Starting from zero, in one of search’s most contested niches.

Roof and storm-claim queries are dominated by contractor lead-gen sites and national insurance publishers. PrequalifyRoof started with zero search impressions — 0 per day, measured Jul 16–18, 2026. The build was reviewed by the CEO of ClaimPredict.

02What we built

One template. Ten thousand cities. Every number sourced.

Each city page answers the question that decides a roof claim — did a storm actually hit here, and what does state law say — with local data an adjuster can check.

“Roof storms & insurance claims in {City}, {ST}”

  • Radar hail days and largest hail estimate over a rolling 2-year window (NOAA MRMS)
  • Verified damaging events from NOAA's quality-controlled Storm Events record
  • State rules on matching, suit deadlines and seller disclosure, each with statute and date
  • Population and a direct “check my address” storm lookup as the conversion point

Live example

prequalifyroof.com/roofing/oklahoma/altus/ — 18 radar hail days, a 0.79″ peak estimate and 11 verified damaging events for Altus, OK, followed by cited Oklahoma claim law. ~1,170 words of city-specific content. Captured Sep 22, 2026.

03The curves

Indexed, then seen.

Both curves come straight from Google Search Console. Daily impressions went from 0 at launch (Jul 16) to 414 by Jul 20 and 674 by Aug 16 — roughly 11,000 impressions in the first 32 days, with the weekly average still climbing.

04Risk proof

Built to survive the scaled-content question.

Scaled pages get penalized when they say nothing new. These pages carry local data that exists nowhere else in that combination. The site launched Jul 16, 2026 — after Google’s May core update (May 21 – Jun 2) and June spam update — and rode through the August spam update (Aug 18–21) with the impression curve above intact. Google has not released a core update since launch.

Primary-source data

Storm figures come from NOAA MRMS radar and the Storm Events database, not model-written estimates.

Cited, dated law

Every state rule names its statute or source and the date it was checked.

Named expert review

Guides carry a Person-schema reviewer with claims-industry credentials.

Honest limits

Pages state what radar can and cannot prove about a specific roof.
